What is your new venture?

I offer short term rental management services! We do full-service management across multiple platforms for your best ROI and care for your home.

#2

Why does the world need what you're offering?

I think financial freedom takes some creative problem solving when we are not in a market that has easy cash flow with long term rentals.

I like being able to help my investors get better cash flow from their investment properties- aiding their goals of passive income, more time with family etc.

This also aligns with my goals as an investor- seeking creative solutions for the most income from my properties, so I have more time with my family.

It also feels amazing to support my staff financially in their goals by paying them well, giving them a lot of time off, etc- to have a wholesome approach of the gift of time first, and that often is helped with less financial strain.

#3

What was the moment(s) that prompted you to start it?

I wanted to house hack after listening to a bigger pockets podcast- so I moved to Florida with my ex who was military, and there weren't any duplexes in the area. However, we were in the Destin area, so I had heard about Airbnb and thought I would try it with the rooms in my house.

I paid the mortgage and utilities and then shared my excitement with all my investor friends about it at the time, and the business was born!

Who are some people in your life that have been influential in getting you to where you are today?

My high school Spanish teacher. She and I are still friends and talk all the time. She also invests in real estate. She is such a solid person in line with her values, and she inspires me to be a better mom and all around friend.

Also, as cliche as it might be, Rich Dad Poor Dad did change my whole outlook on investing and got me really started down my investing journey.

What question did I NOT ask that I should have asked, if I want to learn some interesting info from you? :)
